Edward De Bono – Six Thinking Hats

Hugh with Edward de Bono
Edward De Bono Six Thinking Hats is a useful programme to run meetings more effectively and creatively
In 1985 Dr Edward de Bono designed an alternative method of ‘parallel thinking’ which is now widely used in business and education. Our Six Thinking Hats workshop will teach you how to separate thinking into six distinct categories; each identified by its own coloured metaphorical “thinking hat”. By mentally wearing and switching “hats”, you can easily focus or redirect thoughts, the conversation, or the meeting and break free from the traditional argument system.
This essential course:
- Moves your team from traditional adversarial thinking to co-operative thinking.
- Redresses the behavioral factors that impede successful team-work.
- Removes the politics from team decisions and meetings.
- Provides a common language for your entire organisation.
- Creates dynamic, results-based thinking.
- Reduces meeting times by up to 70%.
- Solves problems more efficiently.
- Make better quality decisions with a shared vision.
